Mookie Betts (hip) likely landing on Dodgers IL
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts is expected to be placed on the 10-day injured list due to a hip injury, per comments from Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.
Betts was scratched from Tuesday's lineup and hasn't played since last Saturday due to a lingering hip issue. Matt Beaty is covering left field and hitting eighth in Wednesday's game against right-hander Kyle Gibson and the Philadelphia Phillies.
numberFire’s models project Beaty for 7.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,100 salary on Wednesday slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Dodgers have an implied total of 5.3 runs. Gibson is registering a 19.9 strikeout percentage with a 9.2 walk percentage this season.
