Freddie Freeman (illness) back in Braves' lineup Tuesday
Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman (illness) is back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Sonny Gray and the Cincinnati Reds.
Freeman made an early exit on Saturday due to an illness and he was held out of Sunday's lineup, though he was able to make a pinch-hit appearance in the contest. Freeman is back on first base and batting third on Tuesday. Austin Riley is shifting to third base in place of Ehire Adrianza.
numberFire’s models project Freeman for 13.3 FanDuel points and he has a $3,700 salary on Tuesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves have an implied total of 4.8 runs. Gray is registering a 29.1 strikeout percentage with an 8.8 walk percentage this season.
