Cubs leave Frank Schwindel on bench Sunday
The Chicago Cubs did not list Frank Schwindel as a starter for Sunday's game against the Chicago White Sox.
What It Means:
Schwindel will take a seat Sunday while Greg Deichmann comes off the bench to start in right field and bat seventh. Patrick Wisdom will play first base and Ian Happ will move to left field.
Schwindel has only made 42 plate appearances in his second season, but has shown promise in those opportunities with 2 home runs, 4 runs, 6 RBI, and a .244 batting average.
