Patrick Wisdom on Cubs' bench Friday afternoon
Chicago Cubs infielder Patrick Wisdom is not in the starting lineup for Friday afternoon's series opener against right-hander Lance Lynn and the Chicago White Sox.
What It Means:
Wisdom is taking a seat for Friday's matinee while Matt Duffy and Frank Schwindel start on the infield corners. Duffy is on the hot corner and hitting second and Schwindel is on first as the Cubs' cleanup man.
