San Francisco Giants first baseman / outfielder Darin Ruf is not starting in Wednesday's lineup against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Ruf will head to the bench after LaMonte Wade Jr. was picked as Wednesday's starting first baseman.
Per Baseball Savant on 113 batted balls this season, Ruf has produced a 14.2% barrel rate and a .274 expected average.
