Joc Pederson joining Braves' bench Wednesday
Atlanta Braves outfielder Joc Pederson is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against left-hander J.A. Happ and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Pederson went 2-for-4 with an RBI against a southpaw on Tuesday, but he's still being held out of Wednesday's lineup. Guillermo Heredia is returning to action to bat seventh and start in center field.
numberFire’s models project Heredia for 8.7 FanDuel points and he has a $2,100 salary on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves have an implied total of 4.5 runs. Happ's xSLG (.507) ranks in the bottom four percent of the league this season and his xERA (5.82) ranks in the bottom ninth percentile.
