Tomas Nido absent from Mets' lineup Monday
New York Mets catcher Tomas Nido is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Jesus Luzardo and the Miami Marlins.
James McCann is catching for Tylor Megill and hitting seventh on Monday. Nido should be available off the bench after starting last game.
numberFire’s models project McCann for 9.0 FanDuel points and he has a $2,200 salary on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets have an implied total of 4.1 runs. Luzardo's wOBA (.388) ranks in the bottom three percent of the league this season.
