The New York Yankees did not include Giancarlo Stanton in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins.
Stanton will catch a breather Sunday, while Joey Gallo takes his spot in left field, Aaron Judge plays right field, and Brett Gardner comes off the bench to start in centerfield and bat seventh.
Stanton is projected for 185 more plate appearances this season, with 9 home runs, 23 runs, 25 RBI, 1 stolen base, and a .239 batting average.
