New York Mets infielder Jonathan Villar is sitting Sunday in the team's game against the Cincinnati Reds.
Villar is being replaced at third base by Brandon Drury against Reds starter Vladimir Gutierrez.
In 285 plate appearances this season, Villar has a .240 batting average with a .734 OPS, 10 home runs, 37 runs and 22 RBI.
