Tampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz is not starting in Saturday's contest against the Boston Red Sox.
Diaz will head the bench after Joey Wendle was announced as Saturday's starting third baseman.
Per Baseball Savant on 255 batted balls this season, Diaz has produced a 5.9% barrel rate and a .247 expected average.
