Royals reportedly trade Jorge Soler to Atlanta before deadline
According to Jeff Passan, the Atlanta Braves have reportedly acquired outfielder Jorge Soler in a trade with the Kansas City Royals.
Soler would help fill an enormous hole in Atlanta's lineup after Ronald Acuna went down for the season. Expect the righty slugger to see immediate at-bats in the middle of Atlanta's order.
According to Baseball Savant on 214 batted balls this season, Soler has produced a 13.6% barrel rate and a .232 expected average.
