Andrew Benintendi on Royals' bench Thursday afternoon
Kansas City Royals outfielder Andrew Benintendi is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Carlos Rodon and the Chicago White Sox.
Benintendi came up empty on Wednesday but he went 2-for-4 in both of the first two games of the series while tallying a home run and a double. He is taking a seat against the White Sox's southpaw on Thursday while Hunter Dozier covers left field. Hanser Alberto is making a start on third base and hitting seventh.
numberFire’s models project Dozier for 8.8 FanDuel points and he has a $2,500 salary on Thursday. Alberto ($2,100) is projected for 7.2 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Royals have an implied total of 4.1 runs. Among Thursday's listed starters, Rodon is registering the best strikeout percentage this season (36.0).
