Yankees reportedly acquire Joey Gallo in trade with Texas
According to Jeff Passan, the New York Yankees have acquired outfielder Joey Gallo in a trade with the Texas Rangers.
Gallo will head to New York after the Yankees made the move for the lefty slugger on Wednesday night. Expect Gallo to see immediate at-bats in the middle of the Yankees' batting order.
Per Baseball Savant on 185 batted balls this season, Gallo has produced a 18.4% barrel rate and a .221 expected average.
