Chicago Cubs infielder David Bote is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds.
Bote will move to the bench on Wednesday with Matthew Duffy starting at second base. Duffy will bat fifth versus right-hander Tyler Mahle and the Reds.
