New York Mets catcher James McCann is sitting Tuesday in the team's game against the Atlanta Braves.
McCann is being replaced behind the plate by Tomas Nido against Braves starter Charlie Morton.
In 285 plate appearances this season, McCann has a .252 batting average with a .695 OPS, 8 home runs, 21 runs and 32 RBI.
