Twins' Trevor Larnach taking seat Tuesday
Minnesota Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against left-hander Tyler Alexander and the Detroit Tigers.
Larnach returned from a hand injury on Monday and went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts. He is registering a rough 43.0 strikeout percentage with a woeful .279 on-base percentage in the month of July. Brent Rooker is shifting to left field in place of Larnach on Tuesday. Miguel Sano is batting sixth as the Twins' designated hitter while Willians Astudillo enters the lineup to hit seventh and start on first base.
numberFire’s models project Rooker for 10.0 FanDuel points and he has a $2,100 salary on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins have an implied total of 5.1 runs. Among Tuesday's listed starters, Alexander is registering the fifth-best walk rate this season (5.4 percent).
