Kansas City Royals left fielder Andrew Benintendi is back in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Dallas Keuchel and the Chicago White Sox.
Benintendi was given a breather on Sunday following 12 consecutive starts and a current 1-for-19 skid at the plate. He will return to left field and hit fifth on Monday. Jarrod Dyson will move to right field and bat ninth for a second straight game.
numberFire’s models project Benintendi for 9.6 FanDuel points and he has a $2,900 salary on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Royals have an implied total of 4.6 runs. Keuchel's xBA (.292) and strikeout percentage (14.6) both rank in the bottom three percent of the majors this season, among qualified pitchers.
