Brock Holt on Rangers' bench Thursday
Texas Rangers third baseman Brock Holt is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Tyler Alexander and the Detroit Tigers.
Holt is out of the lineup for the second time in the past three games, with both matchups coming against left-handed pitchers. Charlie Culberson is shifting to third base and hitting eighth again as the Rangers try to avoid a four-game sweep in Detroit. Isiah Kiner-Falefa is entering the lineup to bat leadoff and play shortstop. Eli White is following Kiner-Falefa in the lineup after batting seventh last game.
numberFire’s models project Culberson for 9.8 FanDuel points and he has a $2,200 salary on Thursday. IKF ($2,400) is projected for 10.4 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, Alexander is registering a 19.6 strikeout percentage with a 5.3 walk percentage this season.
