Diamondbacks' Stuart Fairchild finding seat Wednesday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Stuart Fairchild is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Max Kranick and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Fairchild started on Tuesday for the first time since the break and he went hitless with a strikeout. Daulton Varsho is shifting to center field on Wednesday while Bryan Holaday makes a start at catcher. Varsho is hitting sixth and Holaday is hitting eighth, with Nick Ahmed lined up between them.
numberFire’s models project Varsho for 9.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,200 salary on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Diamondbacks have an implied total of 4.7 runs.
