Rays' Francisco Mejia sitting Friday
Tampa Bay Rays catcher Francisco Mejia is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Charlie Morton and the Atlanta Braves.
Mike Zunino is catching for Michael Wacha and hitting seventh. Mejia should be available off the bench after starting the last game before the break.
numberFire’s models project Zunino for 10.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,500 salary on Friday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays have an implied total of 4.0 runs. Morton is registering a 27.7 strikeout percentage with an 8.0 walk percentage this season.
