Gavin Lux back in Dodgers' lineup Thursday afternoon
Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Gavin Lux is back in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Sandy Alcantara and the Miami Marlins.
What It Means:
Lux was held out of Wednesday's lineup but he entered the game in the fifth inning as a pinch-hitter and wound up striking out in all three of his plate appearances. He is starting at shortstop and hitting seventh in Thursday's matinee. Chris Taylor is on second base and Max Muncy is back on first in place of Albert Pujols. Muncy is hitting second.
