Tommy Pham taking seat Tuesday for Padres

San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Erick Fedde and the Washington Nationals.

What It Means:

Pham went hitless for a fourth consecutive game on Monday and his season average has dropped from .267 to .248 in that span. Trent Grisham is replacing Pham in the leadoff spot and Jurickson Profar is taking over in left field while batting seventh.

numberFire’s models project Profar for 8.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,200 salary on Tuesday. Fedde is registering a 21.6 strikeout percentage with a 10.8 walk percentage this season.
