Odubel Herrera sitting Tuesday for Phillies
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against right-hander Jake Arrietta and the Chicago Cubs.
Herrera went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Monday's 13-3 win over the Cubs. It was his first homer since June 18. He is out of the lineup for the second time in the last three games on Tuesday. Jean Segura is covering the leadoff spot and Travis Jankowski is replacing Herrera in center field.
numberFire’s models project Segura for 11.4 FanDuel points and he has a $2,800 salary on Tuesday. Jankowski (10.3; $2,000) is our third-best point-per-dollar value among hitters. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Phillies have the second-highest implied total (5.3 runs) in the majors on Tuesday.
