Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's game against left-hander Jon Lester and the Washington Nationals.
Lowe is yielding second base to Mike Brosseau and the leadoff spot to Manuel Margot. It appears to be a regular day off for the matinee, following three consecutive starts.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, Lester is registering a 15.6 strikeout percentage with an 8.7 walk percentage this season. His strikeout rate is the second-worst among Wednesday's listed starters. Margot is averaging 10.3 FanDuel points per start this season.
