Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Colin Moran is not starting in Friday's contest against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Moran will head to the bench after Erik Gonzalez was announced as Pittsburgh's starting first baseman.
According to Baseball Savant on 105 batted balls this season, Moran has produced a 6.7% barrel rate and a .255 expected average.
