Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman / outfielder Matt Beaty is not starting in Thursday's lineup against the Chicago Cubs.
Beaty will sit against the Cubs after A.J. Pollock was picked as Thursday's starting left fielder.
According to Baseball Savant on 93 batted balls this season, Beaty has produced a 2.2% barrel rate and a .241 expected average.
