Kelvin Gutierrez held out of Royals' lineup Thursday afternoon
Kansas City Royals infielder Kelvin Gutierrez is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Jameson Taillon and the New York Yankees.
Hanser Alberto will replace Gutierrez on third base and bat fifth. This is the first time Gutierrez has been out of the lineup since June 3.
