St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Edmundo Sosa (hand) is in the starting lineup for Friday's contest against left-hander Max Fried and the Atlanta Braves.
Sosa sat out Thursday after being hit in the hand by a pitch during Wednesday's game. He will return to second base in place of Matt Carpenter and hit seventh.
