Starling Marte sitting Wednesday for Marlins' matinee
Miami Marlins outfielder Starling Marte is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Johan Oviedo and the St. Louis Cardinals.
What It Means:
Marte appears to be getting a breather after scoring in a sixth straight game on Tuesday. Magneuris Sierra will replace Marte in center field and hit seventh.
