Nicky Lopez left off Royals' lineup Monday
Kansas City Royals infielder Nicky Lopez is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Matt Boyd and the Detroit Tigers.
Lopez will take a seat following two straight starts. Hanser Alberto will start at shortstop in place of Lopez and hit eighth.
numberFire’s models project Alberto for 8.3 FanDuel points and he has a $2,100 salary on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Royals have an implied total of 5.1 runs, the fourth-highest total on Monday's slate.
