Rowdy Tellez on first base for Blue Jays Monday
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman/designated hitter Rowdy Tellez is back in the starting lineup for Monday's series finale against right-hander Nathan Eovaldi and the Boston Red Sox.
What It Means:
Tellez was held out of Sunday's lineup but he still provided Toronto with a pinch-hit two-run blast in an 18-4 beatdown of the Red Sox. Vladimir Guerrero will bat third as the Blue Jays' designated hitter on Monday. Randal Grichuk will shift to outfield work in place of Jonathan Davis.
