The Detroit Tigers left Isaac Paredes off of their lineup for Monday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
Paredes will take a seat Monday while Jonathan Schoop re-enters the lineup at designated hitter and bats third. Harold Castro will cover third base and Miguel Cabrera will play first base.
Paredes is projected for 94 more plate appearances this season, with 2 home runs, 8 runs, 8 RBI and a .202 batting average.
