The Boston Red Sox did not list Hunter Renfroe as a starter for Monday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Renfroe will take a seat Monday as Marwin Gonzalez starts in left field and J.D. Martinez moves to designated hitter. Gonzalez will bat eighth this evening.
Renfrow has enjoyed a bounceback 2021 season, bating .263 with a .733 OPS over 213 plate appearances so far. He has 7 home runs, 31 runs, and 27 RBI over the course of the season.
