Houston Astros catcher Martin Maldonado is not in the lineup Sunday in the team's game against the Minnesota Twins.
Maldonado is being replaced behind the plate by Garrett Stubbs against Twins starter Michael Pineda.
In 179 plate appearances this season, Maldonado has a .167 batting average with a .524 OPS, 4 home runs, 17 runs and 17 RBI.
