Oakland Athletics infielder Jed Lowrie is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
Lowrie will move to the bench on Saturday with Chad Pinder starting in left field and batting seventh versus right-hander Jackson Kowar and the Royals.
