Tucker Barnhart on Reds' bench Friday
Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander Kyle Freeland and the Colorado Rockies.
Barnhart will grab a seat against the Rockies' southpaw and he is 3-for-20 through six games this month. Tyler Stephenson will catch Tyler Mahle and hit cleanup.
numberFire’s models project Stephenson for 11.7 FanDuel points and he has a $2,500 salary on Friday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds have an inviting implied total of 5.5 runs. Freeland enters Friday with the worst strikeout percentage (11.1) among the slate's listed starters.
