Chicago White Sox second baseman Nick Madrigal was placed on the 60-day injured list on Thursday.
Madrigal will miss extended time after Chicago's second baseman recently suffered a right hamstring tear. Expect Danny Mendick to see more playing time while Madrigal is out.
Per Baseball Savant on 184 batted balls this season, Madrigal has produced a 1.1% barrel rate and a .261 expected average.
