Tampa Bay Rays infielder Joey Wendle is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Washington Nationals.
Wendle will move to the bench on Wednesday with Brandon Lowe starting at second base. Lowe will bat seventh versus left-hander Patrick Corbin and the Nationals.
