Houston Astros catcher Martin Maldonado is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Boston Red Sox.
Maldonado will move to the bench with Garrett Stubbs catching for right-hander Jake Odorizzi on Wednesday. Stubbs will bat ninth versus right-hander Nathan Eovaldi and Boston.
