San Francisco Giants infielder Wilmer Flores will be the designated hitter for Wednesday afternoon's contest against right-hander Kyle Gibson and the Texas Rangers.
Flores will bat third and step in at designated hitter as the Giants wrap up their two-game set at Nationals Park. He has gone hitless in his last 10 at-bats and struck out twice. Brandon Belt will bat second for the Giants in Wednesday's matinee and Brandon Crawford will be the cleanup man.
Flores is currently numberFire's fourth-best point-per-dollar value among all hitters on Wednesday. He has a $2,000 salary and our models project him to score 10.7 FanDuel points. Belt ($2,500) is projected for 12.4 and Crawford ($3,200) is projected for 12.8 FanDuel points.
