The Detroit Tigers placed infielder Jeimer Candelario on the bereavement list.
Candelario will be eligible to return between Friday and next Tuesday. The Tigers recalled infielder Isaac Paredes from Triple-A Toledo in a corresponding roster move. Harold Castro and Paredes will likely fill in on third base while Candelario is out.
Candelario is averaging 8.2 FanDuel points per game this season while slashing .266/.336/.381 with 4 homers, 18 RBI, and 27 runs scored across 241 plate appearances.
