The Texas Rangers scratched Khris Davis (illness) for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Davis will sit Sunday's contest out, while Nick Solak takes over as designated hitter, Charlie Culberson plays second base, and Brock Holt enters the lineup at third base and bats leadoff.
Davis is projected to make 188 more plate appearances this season, with 5 home runs, 18 runs, 20 RBI, and a .201 batting average.
