Jon Berti joining Marlins' bench Wednesday
Miami Marlins infielder/outfielder Jon Berti is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's interleague game against right-hander Alek Manoah and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Berti is hitless in each of the Marlins' last four games and batting just .165 with a .554 OPS for the season. Corey Dickerson will replace Berti in left field and bat fifth as the Marlins finish a two-game road set with the Blue Jays.
numberFire’s models project Dickerson for 9.9 FanDuel points and he has a $2,300 salary on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins have an implied total of 3.6 runs, the fourth-lowest total in the majors on Wednesday.
