Atlanta's Abraham Almonte sitting against Nationals
Atlanta Braves outfielder Abraham Almonte is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale against left-hander Jon Lester and the Washington Nationals.
Almonte started the past two games in left field but Ehire Adrianza will make the start there on Wednesday and bat sixth against the Nationals' left-hander. Almonte's two starts both came against righties, possibly indicating he will be the preferred option against right-handers.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, Lester enters Wednesday with a 17.7 strikeout percentage and 8.1 walk percentage this season. The Braves' lineup is averaging 96.0 FanDuel points per game versus left-handers, third-most in the majors on Wednesday.
