Amed Rosario (hand) scratched from Indians' lineup Thursday afternoon
Cleveland Indians shortstop Amed Rosario (hand) has been scratched from the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Matt Boyd and the Detroit Tigers.
Rosario is dealing with a right hand contusion. Yu Chang will now start at shortstop for Thursday's matinee and bat sixth. Owen Miller will hit second after initially being lined up sixth.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, Boyd has a 19.4 strikeout percentage with a 6.0 walk percentage this season, and his ground ball-to-fly ball ratio is the second-lowest out of Thursday's 22 listed starters.
