Michael Pineda scratched from Twins start Tuesday versus White Sox
Minnesota Twins pitcher Michael Pineda has been scratched from Tuesday's start against the Chicago White Sox for non-injury-related reasons.
Pineda may wind up starting on Wednesday instead but that's undecided for now. Bailey Ober has been called up to start on Tuesday in place of Pineda. It will be the 25-year-old right-hander's first major league appearance.
Ober recorded a 0.69 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 100 strikeouts with just 9 walks between the Twins Rookie League club, High-A Fort Myers and Double-A Pensacola in 2019.
