Matt Beaty sitting for Dodgers Monday
The Los Angeles Dodgers did not list Matt Beaty as a starter for Monday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Beaty will sit out Monday's contest as Albert Pujols makes his Dodgers debut at first base and bats cleanup. Sheldon Neuse will cover left field for Beaty, while Max Muncy switches to second base.
The third-year outfielder is having a fantastic 2021 season, with 1 home run, 9 runs, 18 RBI, a .327 batting average and a .859 OPS over 62 plate appearances so far.
