New York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil is out of Saturday's lineup against the Tampa Bay Rays.
McNeil will head to the bench with James McCann handling designated hitting duties and Tomas Nido behind the plate.
Per Baseball Savant on 89 batted balls this season, McNeil has produced a 5.6% barrel rate and a .248 expected average.
