Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Carson Kelly is out of Friday's lineup against the Washington Nationals.
Kelly will receive a break after Stephen Vogt was announced as Arizona's starting catcher for Riley Smith.
According to Baseball Savant on 67 batted balls this season, Kelly has produced a 13.4% barrel rate and a .315 expected average.
