Tigers' Eric Haase catching Thursday afternoon
Detroit Tigers catcher Eric Haase is in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Daniel Lynch and the Kansas City Royals.
What It Means:
Haase will catch Spencer Turnbull and bat sixth in his first action of the season. He was called up to provide depth while Grayson Greiner (hamstring) is out. Jake Rogers will be available off the bench Thursday. The Royals' Lynch will be making his third career start. The 24-year-old left-hander was pulled in the first frame last weekend after giving up eight runs in 2/3 of an inning.
